A short EP of 5 songs, that I released on SoundCloud on March 2nd of 2026, since I've been trying to get more music readily available, and wanted to have some kind of theme around what I released. I also wanted to apply what I'd been learning from my classes, and wanted to begin to build an audience so I have somewhere to start after college, and something to share with potential songwriting partners.
Wrote this in 2025, and it's heavily inspired by a misheard lyric in The Strokes song, Selfless, and the general feeling of the song. Honestly it feels like a song, that is desperately trying to help and protect someone. The lyrics in Selfless paint a much more strained love, than Cathedral does, though I do imagine that this song takes place in a run-down, war torn town, where the character singing, and their lover were soldiers that deserted.
I was listening to some Squeeze before I started writing the Pits. I specifically wanted that sort of scene painting that Squeeze pulls off so well in songs like Black Coffee in Bed, and Up the Junction. Ended up with something a bit different from that type of feeling, in my opinion, but I'm quite happy with the end result.
This is a playlist of projects from CSUN's Music Tech II class, which I am currently taking. The Production Track song was made with the intent of it being used in a production library.
